Google and Kaggle's Free AI Agents Course Returns With a Vibe Coding Focus, Starting Today
The 5-Day AI Agents Intensive course from Google and Kaggle runs June 15-19, 2026. The updated curriculum adds vibe coding workflows and production deployment, building on the original edition that reached 1.5 million learners.
Google and Kaggle are running the second edition of their 5-Day AI Agents Intensive course this week, June 15-19, 2026. Registration is free. The original edition, which launched in November 2025, reached more than 1.5 million learners.
The updated course has a new angle: vibe coding. Where the first run focused on building AI agents with conventional code, this version treats natural language as the primary interface and positions agent-building as something accessible to people without formal programming experience.
What the Course Covers
The five-day structure is:
- Day 1: Foundations of agentic AI and vibe coding workflows
- Days 2-4: Building agents with Gemini and Google Cloud tooling, covering orchestration, tool use, and multi-agent setups
- Day 5: Production deployment, with a capstone project launch at the end of the day
An optional capstone asks participants to build a working AI agent, write up their approach on Kaggle, record a short explanation video, and link to the code. Submissions are due June 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT.
Who This Is For
The course is useful in two directions.
For developers already using AI coding tools who want a more structured view of how agents are built, the technical sessions on Days 2-4 cover Gemini API, model orchestration patterns, and deployment on Google Cloud. These sessions use real tooling, not toy examples.
For non-developers curious about building agents through vibe coding, the framing is more accessible than a typical ML course. The premise is that you describe what you want and the AI handles most of the implementation.
Google is using Kaggle as the platform, which means the course content, notebooks, and community discussion all stay accessible after the live sessions end.
Registration
The course is free to register on the Kaggle competition page. The live sessions run each day this week, with async access to recordings and notebooks throughout.
